At 'RKP' the CBSE curriculum is customised to meet the needs of a multifaceted child-centric and pragmatically interactive approach. It is designed exclusively in tandem with modern needs and requisites without overlooking the highest learning standards. Comprising a dynamic and colourful potpourri of academics, sports, performing arts, fine arts, etc., it further aspires to develop creativity among students by exposing them to discreet educational experiences so that they can face the future challenges of a globalised economy. We tend to hone their skills to make them confident, self-reliant and inquisitive researchers.
In order to foster the unceasing streak of learning in children, an extensive framework is designed to reinforce and promote extracurricular activities, i.e., those that are beyond but complement the academic matrix as an integral part of the teaching-learning process. Physical and mental development is achieved through indoor and outdoor sports such as dance, skating, free play, music lessons, dramatics, etc. Specialized professionals and coaches engage children in all co-curricular activities through their highly motivating guidance. It is also ensured that these activities promote real-world experiences, imbibe camaraderie, team spirit, healthy competition, and self-esteem in a broad spectrum of learning. Cultural and aesthetic awareness is cultivated through arts, music, dance, quiz, drawing, art & craft, rangoli, fancy dress competitions, hobby classes, origami, painting, exhibitions, etc. Participation in group discussions, extempore, declamation, Olympiads, debates, role plays, presentations, etc., cultivates cultural and traditional values, fosters students' abiding interest in current affairs, and helps them enhance leadership traits and communication skills. To put the aforementioned agendas into action, participation in inter-school, inter-district, inter-state competitions and talent hunts is organized from time to time, helping them acquire a competitive edge. In fact, even during the challenging times of Corona, a series of online activities were planned to keep young minds stimulated and physically engaged. Special activities were also incorporated to help them become resilient and considerate towards others.
